We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. Duties
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of store merchandise for effective product demos and recommendations
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring product availability
- Uphold store policies on phone etiquette, time management, and organizational standards
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory levels
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers
- Proficiency with POS systems and familiarity with retail technology tools
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours and multi-task efficiently
- Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and customer interactions
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
- Ability to work well within a team environment while independently managing responsibilities
