We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring that every customer has a positive experience. As a key member of our team, you will help lead by example, mentor staff, and contribute to the growth of our family-owned business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Assist in managing, training, and motivating a team of sales associates to achieve individual and team goals.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable equipment.
- Sales Support: Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate inventory levels, organize stock, and assist with receiving and merchandising products.
- Operations: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing the store, managing cash registers, and ensuring the store is clean and well-organized.
- Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local teams, schools, and organizations to promote Time Out Sports and build customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of hockey, baseball, or soccer equipment is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work most weekends

Pay: $21.50-$29.00 per hour
