Key Qualifications:
- Education - Medical Office Assistant Certificate or related program certificate
- Experience - Past medical office experience is an asset, experience with multiple EMRs is an asset. Training for EMR's will be provided.
- Communication - We are looking for someone proficient in English (verbally and written) and someone with a kind, personable attitude that will go above and beyond to help patients through their healthcare journey.
- Flexibility and Adaptability - We are looking for someone that is able to adapt to different work settings and teams and is available to take on shifts with a few days' notice.
- Problem-Solving Skills - Analytical skills for troubleshooting or problem-solving tasks.
- Other Role-Specific Requirements - Valid driver’s license or plans to be able to travel to clinics within the Fraser Valley.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Schedule appointments and maintain electronic medical records with accuracy.
- Handle multi-line phone systems to assist patients and address inquiries.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care and office efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology and office procedures, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed to enhance office workflow.
