Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in framing, carpentry, and related construction activities. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and restoration projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks as required by project specifications
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishes
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and moving materials around the job site
- Use welding techniques for structural repairs or custom fabrications when necessary
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on-site
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and woodworking techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of siding installation, drywall installation, and general carpentry practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Prior construction experience preferred; certification in welding or heavy equipment operation is a plus
