Job Summary
Viva Aesthetics is a spa nestled in the heart of Downtown Dundas. We are a group of dedicated, talented, team-oriented individuals in a fun and welcoming atmosphere! We offer a number of services from Manicures, Pedicures, Dermalogica Facials, Body Tightening, Waxing, IPL and Massages.
We are looking to add a Part-Time Nail Technician expert to our team! We want to add someone who is reliable, passionate, knowledgeable, skilled, self-motivated and has a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services including regular and gel manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements and nail art
- Must have experience with Builder Gel and Nail Extensions (Gel-x, Sculpted Overlay)
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Upsell retail products including Dermalogica skincare products and LOVEFRESH body care
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services
- Assist with household duties during downtime
- Open availability from Tuesday-Saturday
Experience
- Nail technician certificate
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician of at least 2 years in a spa and salon setting
- Knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation standards, and current trends in nail art and design
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
- Photos of nail work (portfolio or IG handle)
- Experience with body waxing is a plus but not mandatory
