Kilworth Children's Centre is a licensed, non-profit early learning and child care centre dedicated to providing exceptional care and meaningful learning experiences for children and families. We believe children learn best through play, exploration, and responsive relationships. We are looking for a passionate, caring, and collaborative Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team.

As an RECE, you will:
- Create warm, inclusive, and responsive learning environments that support each child's individual development.
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based experiences that reflect children's interests and Ontario's How Does Learning Happen? framework.
- Observe, document, and extend children's learning through thoughtful pedagogical practices.
- Build respectful and positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of every child through active supervision and adherence to Ministry regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation including observations, daily records, incident reports, and communication with families.
- Collaborate with educators to create meaningful learning environments and continuous program improvement.
- Participate in professional learning opportunities, staff meetings, and centre initiatives.
- Support daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, outdoor play, rest periods, and transitions while maintaining children's dignity and independence.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Up-to-date immunization record as required.
- Knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and Ministry licensing requirements.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Minimum 2 years experience (preferred)
