Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipefitter to join our manufacturing and construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems used in various industrial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and welding techniques. The Pipefitter will work closely with other trades and team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine piping layouts and specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipe systems using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting, and press brake machines.
- Perform welding tasks including MIG and TIG welding to join pipes securely according to industry standards.
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise fit and alignment of piping components.
- Rigging and crane operation to lift and position heavy pipe sections or equipment safely.
- Conduct machining operations when necessary for custom fittings or adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on piping systems.
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, rigging, crane operation, and handling hazardous materials.
- Assist in ductwork installation and assembly as needed for project completion.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used during projects.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar mechanical or construction role with a focus on piping systems.
- Knowledge of welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding standards.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Experience operating cranes, forklifts, plasma cutters, press brake machines, machining tools, hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Strong understanding of rigging procedures and mechanical principles related to ductwork and assembly processes.
- Construction experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety regulations.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
