Key Responsibilities:
-Coordinate day-to-day activities of construction projects from start to finish
-Assist Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor coordination
-Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure deadlines are met
-Maintain accurate project documentation including permits, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
-Communicate with site supervisors, trades, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are understood and met
-Prepare and update project reports, meeting minutes, and status updates
-Support procurement processes and ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time
-Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards
-Attend site meetings and conduct follow-ups on action items
Qualifications:
-Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
-1–3 years of experience in a construction coordination or administrative role
-Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and terminology
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with construction software (e.g., Auto Cad, MS Project) is an asset
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Assets (Nice to Have):
-Experience with heavy civil construction projects
-First Aid, WHMIS, or other safety certifications
