We are expanding our roster of professional drivers (Employee Drivers & Owner Operators), to meet the increasing demand for our flatbed services.
Position Overview:
As a licensed AR/AZ Truck Driver at Armor Haulage Inc., you will be responsible for transporting any type of flatbed service. This position requires flexibility, as you will handle a mix of long-haul and local runs to meet client demands.
Delivering excellence and ensuring safety are key priorities in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks, trailers & other equipment for both long-haul and local routes.
- Transport all types of flatbed freight with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, ensuring all fluids are topped up, and any damages are reported immediately.
- Maintain trucks and trailers in immaculate condition, including cleaning and organizing regularly.
- Secure freight properly using provided equipment, ensuring safety during transit.
- Communicate professionally with our clients, providing a seamless delivery experience.
- Adhere to all Canadian Highway Traffic Act regulations and company safety protocols.
- Promptly report any roadside inspections or interactions with law enforcement.
Requirements:
- Valid AZ/AR License A MUST (with CLEAN ABSTRACT)
- Willingness to perform both long-haul and local deliveries as needed.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional driving experience.
- Previous experience with freight transportation is a must.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to presenting a professional image.
- Ability to lift and handle vehicle loading & unloading equipment as required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to comply with company policies, including mandatory vehicle inspections, reporting requirements, and distracted driving rules.
- Driver is mechanically inclined - is an asset & preferred, NOT required.
