We are looking for an outgoing team player with previous experience in the foodservice industry. Applicants must have a minimum of one year experience in a fast paced restaurant.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking customer and online orders
- Preparing food orders
- Assisting with light food prep (cutting veggies, prepping herbs, portioning, etc.)
- Assisting with inventory management
- Cleaning and closing duties

This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized service area. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage food handling responsibilities with attention to hygiene and proper storage procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations related to the food industry
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service preferred; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance sales opportunities
- Kitchen experience or prior serving background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
