Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly for repair or further action.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service.
- Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks when required to support overall building upkeep.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
