Located in New Westminster, Burnaby and Coquitlam, Pioneer Community Living Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing innovative services and housing options to adults experiencing mild to complex mental health symptoms.
This part-time day shift (shift 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) RN/RPN position will work out of our Pioneer location in New Westminster. We require applicants to have a minimum of 1 year of Psychiatry nursing experience.

Job Overview
This a unionized position within both BCNU/HSA and part of the Community Subsector Association Agreement.
Under the supervision and direction of the Manager of Care, the RN/RPN is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of life skills groups to prepare residents for independent living. The position provides direct nursing care, including administration of medications and processing of doctors' orders.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program.
- Current practice registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Minimum 1-2 year's recent, related psych nursing experience.
- Current Level 1 First Aid certificate.
- Ability to apply clinical knowledge in practice.
- Ability to work independently and coach multi-disciplinary staff.
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills, problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Successful criminal record check.

Salary is $41.42 to $55.91 per hour.
