Role Overview
TekVision is seeking a dynamic, self-starting Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This role is designed for a "go-getter" who thrives in high-touch, in-person sales environments. Initially, you will work under a team-based compensation structure, contributing to a collective revenue goal while demonstrating the individual leadership and business acumen needed to eventually manage and grow your own exclusive account base.
The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of high Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and a resilient, "glass-is-half-full" perspective, allowing them to navigate the complexities of AI and Software sales with empathy and professional poise.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales & Deal Progression
- Lead complex sales cycles from lead generation through to close, with a heavy emphasis on in-person engagement.
- Travel extensively across Canada and the US to meet with prospective clients, building trust through face-to-face interaction.
- Collaborate within a team structure to hit collective revenue targets, while identifying specific opportunities for account expansion.
Client Engagement & Adaptability
- Utilize high EQ and empathy to read client temperaments and adjust sales strategies to fit various organizational cultures and personalities.
- Act as a lead consultant, understanding deep-seated business pain points and positioning TekVision’s AI solutions as the definitive answer.
Leadership in Ambiguity
- Proactively identify gaps in processes or deal structures and step up to fill them, using seasoned business acumen to solve problems without needing constant oversight.
- Demonstrate a "default-positive" attitude, maintaining momentum and morale during challenging or complex negotiation phases.
Forecasting & Strategy
- Provide accurate reporting on deal progression and timing.
- Assist in the development of territory plans and strategy sessions to ensure the team meets its $5M+ growth targets.
Requirements & QualificationsExperience
- Field Sales: 5+ years of experience in field sales is preferred.
- Technology Background: A proven track record of success in Software and/or AI sales is a must.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel frequently within Canada and the United States for in-person sales meetings and industry events.

Education
- Minimum of a 3-year Business Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.

Pay: $70,000.00-$128,486.41 per year
