- Administer and maintain existing WorkSafeBC claims and support workplace injury processes.
- Maintain employee performance documentation and support performance management processes.
- Travel to Regional Recycling depots as required to provide on-site HR support.
Payroll & Benefits
- Administer full-cycle payroll for employees across the organization.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
- Administer employee benefits and respond to employee inquiries.
- Reconcile payroll information and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll and HR reports for the Senior Accountant and Directors.
- Maintain highly confidential payroll and employee information.
Safety & Compliance
- Support the administration of the company's depot Safety Program.
- Maintain safety inspections, meeting minutes, reports, and related documentation.
- Support compliance with BC employment standards, WorkSafeBC requirements, company policies, and RIOS documentation requirements.
Additional Support
As part of a dynamic organization, you may also provide administrative support in areas such as office and depot supplies, accounting coverage, compliance documentation, and contracted staff housing coordination.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

- 3–5 years of combined HR and payroll experience.
- Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Payroll Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of British Columbia employment standards, WorkSafeBC processes, and payroll best practices.
