Summary
Join Kids3 Daycare as a Housekeeping & Childcare Educator in Downtown. In this vital role, you will support daily operations, assist with housekeeping duties, and contribute to creating a positive environment for children aged 0-12 years. Located at Unit, 217, 10175 109 ST, Edmonton, this position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while working within a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Tidy play areas, their room.
- Child-related laundry.
- Wash and sanitize bottles, toys, highchairs, furniture.
- Sweep/ Vacuum high-traffic zones like hallways, rooms.
- Vacuum Carpets
- Clean office.
- Clean furniture like tables, chairs, shelves, highchairs, changing tables.
- Keep washroom clean and stocked.
- Clean windows
- Support the planning and development of daily activities tailored to children's developmental levels.
- Help supervise children during activities, field trips, and special events.
- Maintain supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress.
- Support team members in delivering quality childcare services.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, organized, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education Assistant program
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations and safety standards.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Criminal record check (abstract) prior to start date.
