Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent service are valued. Prior experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and safety regulations
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and public areas as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management for prompt resolution
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding hygiene, safety, and security
Experience
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred, especially in hotel or hospitality settings
- Experience with industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided to suitable candidates
Pay: $15.34-$16.00 per hour
