Transway Systems Inc. builds vacuum trucks, water trucks, and hydro-excavation trucks used worldwide. We are looking for certified Welders and Fitters, as well as skilled Welders and Fitters to join our day shift.
Pay Based on Experience
- Wages depend on skills and experience
- Full-time job with steady hours
Your Job Will Include:
- Welding & Fabrication – Weld and fit metal parts to build truck tanks and equipment.
- Reading Work Orders & Plans – Follow instructions and use technical drawings to build parts.
- Using Tools & Machines – Work with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, drills, and cranes.
- Moving Heavy Parts – Use hoists and rigging to lift and position metal.
- Checking Your Work – Ensure parts fit properly and meet quality standards.
- Following Safety Rules – Work safe and follow WSIB and company safety policies.
What You Need:
- Welding experience is required – this job is for skilled welders and fitters.
- Aluminum and stainless steel welding experience is an asset.
- Able to read and understand work plans and safety instructions.
- Strong attention to detail – small mistakes can cause big problems.
- Team player – work well with others in a fast-paced shop.
- Willing to work extra hours when needed.
- Must bring your own welding helmet and work boots – we supply everything else!
- Comfortable welding in all positions using MIG metal core welding.
- Must include date and location of secondary school completion on your resume.
