Carpenter
$25-$40 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Carpentry and finish carpentry duties as required by supervisor
- Fitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
- Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood with precision
- Maintaining cleanliness of work space
- Provide direction and mentorship to carpenter’s helpers and labourers
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and support labour
Skills and Abilities:
- Sound knowledge of finish carpentry aspects in residential construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Reliable and adaptable
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have good communication and listening skills
- Ability to solve project problems and maintain high standards
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent or enrollment in a co-op or Apprenticeship Program
- Driver’s license
- Working at Heights, WHMIS training is an asset
General Information:
- Permanent Full-Time
- 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday - Overtime may be required occasionally
- Must own basic hand tools, safety equipment and transportation
