We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Supervisor to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support during meal preparation and service
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in meal preparation during busy periods to maintain timely service
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs for efficient kitchen operation
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and overall kitchen environment
- Serve guests with professionalism and ensure a positive dining experience
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of meal preparation, restaurant operations, and the food industry trends
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
