Position Summary
Weed Me is seeking a dependable and professional Delivery Driver to transport cannabis products and related materials between company facilities, licensed distribution centers, and suppliers throughout Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, secure, and timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all company policies, the Cannabis Act, and applicable provincial regulations.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, customer-focused, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Clean driver’s abstract, and criminal record are a MUST-HAVE for this role.
Start at 9am-5pm, must be flexible - may fluctuate with delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate company vehicles to transport cannabis products and related materials.
· Complete scheduled deliveries accurately and on time.
· Verify orders, quantities, and documentation before departure and upon delivery.
· Maintain chain-of-custody and security protocols for all cannabis shipments.
· Obtain signatures and maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
· Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
· Follow assigned delivery routes while optimizing efficiency and customer service.
· Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
· Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, customers, Suppliers and management.
· Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing deliveries as required.
· Support warehouse operations during non-delivery periods when needed.
· Maintain confidentiality regarding products, customers, and company operations.
Required Qualifications
· Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence.
· Clean driver's abstract and safe driving record.
· Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
· Ability to pass a criminal background check, where applicable.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Professional and courteous customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift, carry, and move products weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
· Ability to load and unload delivery vehicles throughout the workday.
· Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting regularly.
Working Conditions
· Frequent travel throughout Ontario.
· Exposure to varying weather and road conditions.
· Early morning starts and occasional overtime may be required.
· Combination of driving, customer interaction, and warehouse support activities.
