MCAULAY CONSTRUCTION is a premier builder of Muskoka custom homes, cottages, boathouses, decks and docks.
We are seeking an experienced Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential framing, with proficiency in general construction and the use of various hand and power tools. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting custom lakefront projects in Muskoka . Candidates should be capable of heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
- Construct wood frameworks for residential projects using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Install siding, sheathing, and other exterior components according to project specifications.
- Operate heavy machinery safely for lifting and positioning large materials or structural elements.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Framer with a strong background in construction or carpentry.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
