About the role
We’re looking for a strong visual content operator to help shape how the brand looks and feels across photo and video.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ideas from zero to polished, ready-to-post assets. That includes concepting, setup, shooting, filming, photography, editing, colour correction and grading, pacing, timing, and final delivery.
You’ll work closely with our founders and creative team to create content that feels sharp, current, human, and visually elevated. We want someone with taste, speed, technical range, and strong instincts for hooks, retention, and storytelling.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to shoot, only wants to edit, or only wants to wait for instructions. We’re looking for someone who brings ideas, solves problems, and helps make the brand look epic.
A bit about us
We’re building for people whose periods have controlled far too much of their lives.
People with heavy flow know the mental math: what to wear, where to sit, how often to check, what to pack, what to cancel, what to risk, and how to get through the day or night without stress, leaks, or embarrassment. For a lot of people, period care has never felt like care at all. It has felt like management.
We think that’s unacceptable.
This brand started with Sara’s own experience. What began as a personal frustration became something much bigger: the realization that millions of people are quietly dealing with the same loss of comfort, confidence, and control.
So we set out to build something better: products made for real life, for heavy flow, and for the people who have been underserved for far too long. We care deeply about quality, performance, trust, and raising the standard in a category that has asked people to settle for less.
We’re passionate because this matters. To our customers, this is not a small lifestyle product. It changes how they sleep, travel, work, parent, move, and show up in the world.
That is why every role here matters. This is not the kind of company where you fade into the background and collect a paycheck. We want people who want to build, care deeply, move fast, and contribute to something with real impact.
In this role, you will
- Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content across founder content, product content, behind-the-scenes content, campaign content, and brand storytelling
- Own visual production from rough concept to polished final asset
- Handle shoot setup including lighting, audio, framing, backgrounds, props, and production readiness
- Edit short-form videos with strong hooks, pacing, timing, retention, and structure
- Colour correct and grade footage where necessary so content feels elevated and consistent
- Capture and edit still photography for social, marketing, e-commerce, retail, and campaign needs
- Turn one shoot into multiple usable assets across formats and channels
- Bring visual ideas, recurring series concepts, and execution angles to the table
- Work closely with founders and the broader team to execute content quickly and at a high standard
- Reorganize, maintain, and improve our creative files, media library, and archives alongside the graphic designer
- Help build a cleaner, more searchable, more reliable asset system so the team can actually find and use what we create
- Support launches, campaigns, photoshoots, and brand moments with fast, polished visual execution
We’re looking for someone who
- Has 3–5 years of hands-on experience in videography, photography, editing, content production, or a similar creative role
- Has a strong portfolio showing both video and photo work
- Can independently shoot and edit polished, brand-right content
- Understands short-form storytelling, especially hooks, pacing, timing, and retention
- Has strong visual taste and knows how to make content feel elevated without making it feel overproduced
- Can move between scrappy and polished depending on what the content needs
- Is comfortable filming in the office, warehouse, public settings, and around product-focused content
- Is highly organized and can manage raw files, selects, versions, finals, and archives properly
- Brings energy, ideas, and initiative instead of waiting to be told exactly what to make
- Can take loose direction and turn it into strong visual output
Bonus if you have
- Experience shooting for DTC, lifestyle, wellness, apparel, or founder-led brands
- Experience with product photography or campaign content
- Experience editing performance-aware short-form creative
- Experience creating content that can be used across both organic and paid channels
Approach to the role
- You care about the result, not just the deliverable
- You know that “cool” is useless if the content does not communicate or convert
- You understand that visual quality and performance are connected
- You can be scrappy when speed matters and polished when the moment calls for it
- You do not sit around waiting for assignments
- You help create momentum by spotting what should be made next
What this role is not
- If you only want to shoot and do not want to edit, this is not the role
- If you only want to edit and do not want to shoot, this is not the role
- If you only care about aesthetics and do not understand communication, this is not the role
- If you need constant direction to stay productive, this is not the role
What success looks like
Within 6–12 months, the brand looks sharper, more intentional, and more visually consistent. The team has a steady stream of usable visual assets. Content gets produced faster and at a higher standard. Shoots yield more usable outputs. Files are organized. Archives are clean. And the brand is no longer scrambling every time it needs something polished and ready to go.
