Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various settings,
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments
- Assist with patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide wound care, phlebotomy, and pain management as needed
- Support patients with activities of daily living and mobility assistance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation and communication
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, medication regimens, and care procedures
- Manage case coordination for complex cases involving chronic illnesses or post-hospital recovery
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in all patient interactions
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the appropriate licensing body
- Nursing home or hospital experience highly preferred; experience in acute care, dementia care, pediatrics, or hospice is advantageous
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Experience with electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner is desirable
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including seniors, children, and those requiring specialized care
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Certification in phlebotomy or laboratory experience is a plus
- Prior experience in assisted living or home care settings is beneficial

Pay: $26.21-$28.00 per hour
