About the Role
You’ll primarily work from home editing engaging social content for businesses. Everything from talking-head pieces to b-roll highlight reels, with opportunities to grow into commercial and long‑form projects over time. We're looking for someone hungry to learn fast, work hard, and grow with the role.
Responsibilities
- Edit 4-8 videos per week for social media and web use
- Take revision feedback and apply it to your edits
- Adapt content into vertical formats like Reels (from horizontal footage)
- Collaborate on video script ideas and editing choices
- Manage deadlines and log your work accurately
Requirements
- 2 years experience editing or creating social media content
- Portfolio showcasing relevant projects
- Computer capable of handling multiple streams of 4K footage
- Based in the Lower Mainland
- Ability to follow written instructions and deliver quick turnarounds
- Motivated self‑starter who learns quickly and brings a strong work ethic
Nice to Have
- Canva or graphic design experience
- Motion graphics experience
- Familiarity and interest in social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Ability to collaborate on content ideas for clients
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
