We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with various teams to deliver high-quality results. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to interpret complex blueprints and schematics. The Construction Site Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality standards across multiple projects.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and construction quality
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents for accurate execution of work
- Manage on-site safety protocols and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project
- Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and resource allocation to stay within project financial parameters
- Ensure accurate material procurement
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented
- Hands on tools may be required for some projects
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in ICI and retail construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft project and other relevant tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction estimating techniques
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams effectively
- Familiarity with budgeting practices within construction projects
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory
