Hilton Garden Inn Ajax is looking for a Full-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee restaurant operations, manage events, and ensure exceptional service in both our restaurant and banquet spaces. This leadership role offers a competitive salary of $45,000 – $47,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the Food & Beverage team in daily restaurant and banquet operations.
- Ensure high-quality service in line with Hilton Brand Standards.
- Oversee restaurant functions, staff performance, and guest satisfaction.
- Manage events and banquets, coordinating setup and execution.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members.
- Address guest inquiries and service concerns professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant and event management.
- Smart Serve certification is required.
- Strong leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Open availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
