REQUIRED:
Universal Ventilation Ltd. is a progressive heating, ventilation, & air conditioning contractor located in Calgary with over 20 years serving customers’ needs. We emphasize new construction, installations, HVAC design and service. We are looking for Journey-Person Sheet Metal Mechanics and second to fourth year Apprentices. DUTIES:
- Assemble and install HVAC units and sheet metal ducting for residential / commercial / industrial spaces
- Journeyperson may need to run jobs, which may include apprentices or individually
- Read building plans to determine job scope and create material orders
- HI-V fancoil experience is an asset
REQUIRED:
- Must have personal smart phone
- Must have valid Class 5 drivers license to drive company vehicles
- Valid B class Gas Ticket considered an asset
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must have good communication skills (office and customers)
- Must be able to work efficiently self-supervised and within a team setting
- Must possess team spirit, and be able to work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering
- Must be willing to work with Management to promote and utilize safe work practices
