The Opportunity
CanBiocin has had an extraordinary year: team growth of 62%, record-low employee turnover, revenue growth of ~40% YOY, and a significant strategic investment from a major French multinational accelerating our next stage of global growth.
With the tremendous growth in our customer base and production demands, we are now on the hunt to fill the newly created position of Supply Chain & Operations Coordinator to support the execution and continuity of our day-to-day operations across procurement, inventory coordination, manufacturing support, logistics, and customer purchase fulfillment.
This role works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient execution, timely deliveries, accurate inventory records, and effective coordination between suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and logistics partners.
While experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination is important, we do not expect complete knowledge of every regulatory nuance of our industry or the cross-border requirements unique to our business. Training, support, and hands-on knowledge transfer will be provided - what matters most is your ability to learn quickly, think critically, and grow alongside the company!
Your Role in Our Success
- Procurement & inventory coordination (purchasing and replenishment activities for ingredients, packaging, and operational materials)
- Logistics & shipment coordination, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments across Canada and the U.S. (mostly), and internationally
- Schedule freight pickups and deliveries with carriers, warehouses, manufacturers, and customers
- Monitor shipment status, proactively identify delays, and coordinate resolution activities
- Prepare and distribute shipping documentation, including BOLs, commercial invoices, COAs, customs paperwork, and tracking information
- Support cross-border shipping and customs compliance
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules
- Operations support & continuity such as supporting day-to-day operational execution and coordination across manufacturing and fulfillment activities
- Serve as a secondary point of knowledge and coordination for critical operational processes
- Support the Operations Manager with prioritization and execution of operational initiatives during high-volume production periods
- Support timely communication of shipment updates, delays, and operational issues to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, QA, and Production teams to support smooth operational execution
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of operational processes.
- High attention to detail and able to manage time effectively, meet tight deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Adaptable and quick to respond to changing schedules and production demands.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Your Technical Skills & Background
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or any closely related technical fields.
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations coordination, manufacturing administration, or a related field
- Experience coordinating shipments, inventory, purchasing, or supplier relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/inventory systems (nice to have)
- Experience with cross-border shipping and customs documentation is considered an asset (nice to have)
