With the goal of getting things back to a pre-disaster state Carpenters or Multi-Skilled Tradespeople use the skills of carpenters, drywallers and painters! What You’ll Do
- Finishing work and fine details, rough and trim
- Installation, doors, trim, moldings, baseboards and hardware
- Repairs to wooden structures of all sorts
- Drywall repairs, mudding, sanding, taping and finishing
- Brush and roller painting (could include walls, ceilings, trim)
- Ceiling installation, knockdown and texturing
- Insulation and vapour barrier installation
- Cabinetry (removal, reinstallation)
- Framing
What You Bring
- 2+ years doing interior carpentry repairs and/or renovations, drywalling and/or painting
- Attention to detail, passion for quality and pride in the work you do
- Your own hand and power tools (an asset)
- Strong people and communication skills
- A safety mindset
- Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps and software)
- Restoration/rebuild focus (flood/fire damage) an asset
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken

Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
