Pay rate is $29/hr
FIRST POSITION : We have PT communty visiting positions available for days and afternoons. Part time is 3 weekdays, must be the same 3 weekdays each week PLUS every other weekend both sat and sun.
The day time frame is 7am-3pm AND the afternoon time frame is 3pm-11pm – Time frames are not flexible, we do not have shorter time frames and all working days need to be the same time frame.
PT staff receive a $25 monthly phone allowance but are not eligible for benefits.
SECOND POSITION: FT weekend warrior position. This schedule for this position is fri, sat, sun and mon each week. We do have both days 7am-3pm and afternoons 3pm-11pm, you must choose 1 time frame and all working days will be that time frame.
FT staff received a $50 monthly phone allowance and are eligible for benefits after 3 months.
Requirements:
Vulnerable Sector Police Check in the last 5 years
Must have CHW or HCA certificate and be registered in good standing with a current BC care aide registration number and be in good standing with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
CPR certificate
TB test results from within 1 year or chest xray from within 2 years
Must be double vaccinated for COVID
Drivers licence (7N Or 5), a reliable vehicle and insurance in your name.
Responsibilities:
Assisting clients with all aspects of daily living
Food preparation and/or assistance with feeding as required
Light housekeeping such as: dishes, folding laundry etc
