Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support cooks and other kitchen staff with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to learn and assist in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing duties.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
