As we continue to grow across Ontario, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager to join and support our London, Ontario team.
This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure and municipal projects while contributing to client growth, team collaboration, and project delivery excellence across Southwestern Ontario.
About the Role
Working closely with technical teams, clients, and leadership across GEI, the successful candidate will support and lead a variety of municipal infrastructure, civil engineering, and land development projects from proposal through design and construction.
This position combines project management, technical coordination, client relationship management, and team collaboration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both leadership and hands-on project involvement.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties

Lead and manage municipal infrastructure, land development, and civil engineering projects throughout all project phases

Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery

Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and client communication

Prepare and review technical drawings, reports, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documentation

Support grading, servicing, drainage, stormwater management, watermain, sanitary sewer, and roadway design projects

Conduct or coordinate site visits, field reviews, and construction inspections as required

Build and maintain strong client, contractor, municipal, and stakeholder relationships

Support business development initiatives including proposals, client engagement, and regional growth opportunities

Mentor and support junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Collaborate with teams across GEI offices to share technical expertise and project resources
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
-
P.Eng. designation in Ontario or eligibility for registration is considered an asset
-
OACETT designation or eligibility is considered an asset for technologist candidates
-
8+ years of related experience in municipal infrastructure, civil engineering, consulting, or land development projects

Experience managing or coordinating engineering and infrastructure projects

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D
-
Strong understanding of municipal servicing, stormwater management, grading, and infrastructure design

Construction administration or field inspection experience is considered an asset

Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Collaborative and professional approach with strong attention to detail

Valid driver’s license and access to transportation
