Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pakistani Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring authentic Pakistani cuisine expertise, along with strong leadership and food safety knowledge. The Pakistani Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring excellent food service standards are maintained.
Duties
- Prepare and cook authentic Pakistani dishes, ensuring traditional flavors and presentation standards are met
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to maintain high culinary standards
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with restaurant management to plan menus and special offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety protocols
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Lead by example in maintaining a positive team environment and fostering hospitality excellence
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving authentic Pakistani cuisine
- Supervising experience within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Restaurant management experience is a plus, including menu planning and operational oversight
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the food industry trends related to Pakistani cuisine and hospitality services
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and customer satisfaction
