Job title: Event Decor Staff
1 Full-Time Permanent On-going
1 Seasonal June 1st to the end of October, 8 hours a day, Wed-Sun, flexible hours (able to work midnight to 7 am), both $22- $35 per hour depending on skill/experience. Monday and Tuesday are days off for everyone.
Requirements:
-Handy, able to fix things, set up decor
-Physically strong, able to move and set up tables and chairs and other decor for up to 5 hours, loading and off loading-trucks.
-Team player, a good attitude
-Able to communicate in English verbally
-Level 4 Driver's license
-Good work ethic, be on time, clean and presentable
-Honest and loyal
-Troubleshooting and good decision-making skills
-Emotionally mature with some work experience or life experience
-Creativity, organization, and attention to detail are a plus, but not a must
About the position:
This role will mainly work out of the company warehouse in Vancouver, 10 minutes from Downtown. The decor staff will often need to help load and unload decor equipment at various Downtown hotels, and outdoor venues. We're a young and dynamic bunch who are athletic and outgoing, love to have fun, and enjoy a good sense of humor. We work in a clean environment and provide services to very high-end clientele.
