THE OPPORTUNITY
Sirius is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, inventory planning, logistics, and supplier relationship management. This role owns the flow of materials from vendor to shop floor, ensuring our production teams have what they need, when they need it, to keep pace with customer demand across our engineered systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute supply chain strategy across procurement, inventory, and logistics to support production and delivery timelines
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate vendor performance for cost, quality, and reliability
- Oversee inventory planning and demand forecasting to balance material availability with working capital efficiency
- Coordinate logistics and distribution to ensure on-time delivery of components and finished systems
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including single-source dependencies and material lead-time volatility
- Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to align sourcing decisions with technical specifications
- Track and report key supply chain KPIs, including on-time delivery, cost savings, and inventory turns
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics processes
- Uphold Sirius safety standards in all supplier and logistics interactions
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management, ideally in manufacturing or oil and gas
- Proven track record negotiating supplier contracts and managing vendor performance
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory planning and demand forecasting
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; SCMP or APICS/CPIM designation an asset
