Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic pizza and pasta dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, maintaining proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy hours
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in pizza and pasta preparation
