Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, managing food and beverage orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role is vital in ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers and supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service
- Manage guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of front of house areas including tables, counters, and service stations
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures consistently
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if necessary
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required
