Job Title: Car Lot Attendant
Location: Sherwood Kia – Sherwood Park, AB
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Additional overtime may be required from time to time, including earlier start times or staying late as needed.
Job Summary
Sherwood Kia is seeking a reliable and motivated Car Lot Attendant to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the appearance, organization, and overall flow of our vehicle inventory. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the vehicle lot at all times
- Park, arrange, and move vehicles on the lot and in the showroom
- Perform basic vehicle checks, including fuel levels, battery condition, tire pressure, and cleanliness
- Assist with vehicle deliveries, transfers, and dealer trades
- Wash and detail vehicles as required
- Ensure all vehicles are properly tagged, locked, and secured
- Support the sales and service departments as needed
- Keep drive lanes, customer parking areas, and showroom spaces clear and presentable
- Shovel snow and clear snow from vehicles and lot inventory during winter conditions
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive manual transmission is an asset, but not required
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and moving vehicles throughout the day
- Previous dealership or automotive experience is an asset, but not required
