Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Survey Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in land surveying, data collection, and mapping projects, supporting the accurate and efficient completion of various construction and GIS-related tasks. Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys using various surveying instruments and equipment to gather precise spatial data.
- Assist with data collection, entry, and management to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare survey drawings, maps, and reports utilizing AutoCAD, CAD, ArcGIS, and GIS software.
- Support construction projects by providing survey information for site layout, staking, and boundary determination.
- Maintain detailed records of survey data, field notes, and project documentation in databases.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure survey specifications are met.
- Perform quality checks on collected data to identify discrepancies or errors for correction.
- Support GIS analysis and mapping tasks as needed for project development.
Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, GIS software, and CAD is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction surveying processes and data collection techniques.
- Familiarity with data management practices and database systems related to surveying projects.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle physical aspects of fieldwork.
- Basic understanding of geospatial concepts and mapping principles.
- Prior experience or education in civil engineering, geomatics, or related fields is a plus.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
