All food and beverage runners must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.

Job Description and Duties
Function:
Assists in the preparation of the kitchen service area and or bar service area in order to expedite the food from the kitchen to the customer or beverages from the bar to the customer. Work is performed according to Imago standards and procedures and involves working closely with the service staff, bar staff, and kitchen staff. All food and beverage runners must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
Key Tasks:
♦ Sets up soup station with bowls, plates, napkins, spoons, and crackers.
♦ Stocks andmanages bread station according to operating practices.
♦ Sets up take-out station stocking all take-out containers, cutlery, bags, napkins, condiments, and beverages.
♦ Sets up coleslaw station stocking bowls and tongs for service following all established food safety procedures.
♦ Sets up and ensures that all portioned condiments/garnishes are filled, wrapped, and ready for service following all established food safety procedures.
♦ Sets up the line with all items necessary for food running including dishes, cutlery, condiments, or any paper goods.
♦ Reviews all food and drink specials and readies appropriate condiments and or garnish to be served with these items.
♦ Must be able to read chits to discern table numbers, position numbers, and any special requests made by the guests. Must know all sections and the server assigned to each.
♦ Delivers food/beverages to proper table and person checking that condiments and cutlery are on the table.
♦ Clears and resets tables as needed.
♦Assists with the clean-up of spilled drinks, broken glasses or bottles, and plates of food dropped in error.
♦ Collects and empties all bus bins. Sorts and stacks soiled dishes and glassware in the appropriate areas.
♦ Restocks and or tears down line after service.
♦ Assists in the stocking of all beverages and bar supplies.
♦ Assists in the management of the keg room including the maintenance stocking and changing of draught kegs and the removal and storage of all empty kegs, beer bottles, and recycling.
♦ Monitors and changes beer gas as needed.
♦ Monitors and changes all bags in the box Pepsi products.
♦ Contributes to a safe work environment by complying with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Imago-specific safety regulations, reporting unsafe acts/conditions, injury or illness immediately, and bringing health and safety issues to the attention of the health and safety committee.
♦ Adheres to duties of workers outlined in Section 28 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Education Required:
The job requires knowledge equivalent to graduation from high school.
Experience Required:
Minimal. This is an entry-level position.
