We are a growing construction company specializing in quality concrete and earth work. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Concrete Finisher (Foreman) who can lead a crew, work hands-on, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. This is a leadership role with strong growth potential for the right individual.
Position Overview
The Concrete Foreman is responsible for supervising and working alongside a small crew (2–4 team members) on excavation, site preparation, and concrete projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical skill, and a commitment to safety and quality. Role is seasonal (April – November)Potential offer to join snow removal crew in November.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership
- Lead, train, and supervise crew members
- Plan daily tasks and ensure productivity
- Maintain job site safety and enforce company policies
- Communicate effectively with management and clients
Excavation & Site Prep
- Perform and oversee grading, layout, and excavation
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, and compactors
- Ensure proper subgrade prep, compaction, and elevations
- Coordinate safe digging practices and site logistics
Concrete Work
- Set forms and verify layout per plans
- Oversee and assist with placing, screeding, floating, and finishing concrete
- Ensure quality control and proper curing methods
- Troubleshoot and resolve finishing issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of concrete finishing experience
- Experience with excavation and site grading
- Prior foreman or leadership experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and shoot grades
- Equipment operation experience (skid steer, mini ex)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
