You'll Be Responsible For:
Manages intermediate level tasks and associated deliverables and / or support the associate director with activities to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of project and program management operations, whilst working alongside the wider project team comprising the client, design team and other consultants and contractor.
Provides subject matter expertise to support team/s across broad business projects and business units, ensuring the best project outcome.
Manages design and wider consultant team/s and project stakeholders to ensure effective completion of responsibilities. including project brief/scope, fees, processing claims, deliverable and/or project variations etc.
Produces design and authorities programme to be integrated with procurement and delivery programme.
Delivers project objectives, leads and manages the project team/s and stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepares and modifies project plans and updates and ensures relevant over the project/s lifecycle.
Produces design and authorities programme to be integrated with procurement and delivery programme.
Oversees project timeframes, ensuring the success of delivery of programmes, highlighting risks, challenges and mitigations, managing project budgets, aligned to plan/agreed returns.
Collaborates with stakeholders and ensures robust quality systems are in place, suitably managed and monitored in line with Service Excellence.
Leads and records relevant meetings, providing stakeholders contextual information and analysis, including regular site walks.
Partners with stakeholders and actively manages risk management and mitigation treatments.
Ensures all approved handover documentation is coordinated and provided prior to practical completion.
Promotes and drives the business priorities through Construction to Production, Digital & Data and responsible business practices.
Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have:
Proven experience in project management, delivering small, medium, and large-scale projects.
Strong communication, presentation, and project planning capabilities.
Developed expertise in budget management and financial oversight.
Advanced proficiency in stakeholder communication, coordination, and collaboration.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a clear client/customer focus.
Proactive management of internal budgets and fees to achieve agreed outcomes.
Demonstrated understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
Good knowledge and experience within a specific sector or project market.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications aligned to the project portfolio.
Experience managing or supporting teams, providing guidance and coordination.
Acts as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, both internal and external.
Substantial experience in project management or a related role.
Professional membership such as MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS (or working towards), or local equivalent.
Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification or experience).
Holds an appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
Note: The estimated salary for this position is 130,000 - 180,000 CAD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
