Smitty’s is one of Canada’s largest all-day family restaurant chains, operating from coast to coast. Almost all our restaurants are fully licensed, offering friendly service and great food. We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Server to join our team in Portage La Prairie.
- Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve meals promptly and professionally
- Check back with guests regularly and handle special requests
- Process payments using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Resolve guest concerns politely and professionally
- Qualifications:
- Open availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the restaurant organized, stocked and clean
- Previous serving experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
