Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. This role involves providing professional grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring they look and feel their best. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks with care and professionalism. Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to client specifications
- Assess each pet’s coat, skin, and overall health, reporting any concerns to pet owners or management
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work area
- Handle pets safely and compassionately throughout the grooming process
- Schedule appointments and communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Assist with maintaining inventory of grooming supplies and products
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and ensuring a positive experience
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pet grooming techniques and tools
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with clients and their pets
- Ability to lift heavy pets safely (heavy lifting) while maintaining proper posture to prevent injury
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience for handling nervous or difficult pets
- Good communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
This role is perfect for individuals who are dedicated animal lovers with a knack for grooming and customer care. Prior experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
