Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery safely, including excavators, skid steers, and bulldozers.
- Dig precise trenches, foundations, and grade earth according to project plans.
- Transport construction materials, dirt, sand, and site debris efficiently.
- Perform inspections on machinery to ensure optimal operational and safety conditions.
- Collaborate closely with on-site crew leaders, surveyors, and construction labourers.
- Follow strict protocols set by provincial, municipal, and company safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in active construction or excavation environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to navigate to different job sites.
- Physical fitness to comfortably handle outdoor elements and demanding site environments.
- Strong work ethic focused on absolute punctuality, reliability, and precision.
- Equipment certification or specific heavy operator training is considered a major asset.
