Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Rental Agent to join our team. This role involves engaging with prospective tenants, managing rental inquiries, and facilitating the leasing process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and experience in sales or retail are highly valued to enhance client interactions and expand outreach. The Rental Agent plays a vital role in representing our property management company and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
Duties
- Greet prospective tenants and provide detailed information about available rental properties
- Conduct property tours and answer questions regarding features, amenities, and leasing terms
- Manage rental inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professional phone etiquette
- Process applications, perform data entry, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Negotiate lease terms with applicants to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Assist with marketing efforts to promote available units through various channels
- Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure properties are well-maintained for showings
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments and handling administrative tasks
- Follow up with potential tenants to convert inquiries into signed leases
- Maintain organized files of tenant information, lease agreements, and correspondence
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, or sales management is preferred
- Strong communication skills, including negotiation and persuasive sales abilities
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry, and basic marketing techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
- Ability to handle outside sales activities and engage effectively with clients face-to-face
- Experience in front desk operations or administrative roles is advantageous
- Demonstrated professionalism with good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
Pay: $60.00-$120.00 per hour
