An exciting opportunity is available for a Cabin Stress Integrator to join a Cabin Interior Certification team based in Mirabel, Quebec. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Cabin Integration, Occupant Safety, and Flammability, contributing to the certification and development of cabin interior components.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-visibility projects, providing technical leadership during critical program phases
- Define certification strategies for cabin monuments, liners, and seating systems
- Support design and development activities for aircraft interiors
- Guide and monitor suppliers to ensure compliance and high-quality deliverables
- Review and approve structural substantiation reports and finite element models (FEM)
- Contribute to test campaigns (static, dynamic, and material testing) supported by FEA
- Provide clear visibility to management on project status and risks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with ~15 years of industry experience
- Strong expertise in stress analysis (metal and composite structures), including primary structures, interiors, and seating
- Solid knowledge of certification requirements (FAA, TCCA, EASA) and experience working with regulatory authorities
- Hands-on experience with certification testing (seats or monuments)
- Proficiency in FEA/FEM tools (e.g., Nastran/Patran, HyperMesh/View) and CATIA V5 (asset)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in multidisciplinary environments
