Nerds On Site is a 30 year veteran IT services brand expanding its network of independent IT professionals across Kelowna and the Okanagan. We work primarily with small and medium businesses across the region — with residential and home-office clients in the mix too — across Windows and Apple environments: networking, cybersecurity, cloud (Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace), backups, VoIP and phone systems, surveillance, and system migrations.
This is an independent contractor role, not employment. You work under the established Nerds On Site brand with a global network of specialists backing you, enterprise tools and admin support handled for you, and the flexibility to set your own schedule.
We’re especially keen to hear from experienced, hands-on pros — though if you’ve got real ability and a service mindset, we’d still like to talk:
- Seasoned IT pros working solo who want bigger projects with team backup
- Semi-retired IT experts who want to stay engaged on a flexible schedule
- Capable technicians ready to grow into running their own client base
If you bring a specialized skill — cybersecurity, networking, cloud, telephony, or a specific industry — the network puts it to work. Other Nerds pull in specialists on projects that need them, so your expertise reaches well beyond your own client base.
You’ll also have access to our vendor and distributor agreements, so you can source the hardware and software clients need and be a true one-stop shop instead of turning work away.
