Job Summary
Staff Plus is currently seeking a Printing Press Operator to join our client’s growing custom printing and production team in Vaughan, ON. In this role, you will play a key role in day-to-day operations, ensuring that all printed materials are produced accurately and meet the highest quality standards.
Shift: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a Heidelberg 4 Colour Press with precision and consistency.
- Make plates using Heidelberg plate equipment.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance after each production run.
- Manage customer orders from intake to completion, ensuring accuracy and timely production.
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities.
- Handle inventory purchasing for production materials.
- Support general production and administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience
- Proven experience operating a Heidelberg 4 Colour Press.
- Strong understanding of paper types, including grain direction and GSM.
- Experience with prepress and plate making.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
