We’re looking for a part‑time Social Media Content Creator Intern to join our team at Lococo Wellness Clinic, a holistic naturopathic clinic in Hamilton focused on helping people achieve better health naturally.
This is an internship opportunity, ideal for someone just out of school who wants hands‑on experience in content creation, social media strategy, and the day‑to-day operations of a wellness business. The role is local, flexible, and primarily on‑site in Hamilton, with direct feedback and mentorship throughout the editing process.
Responsibilities
- Create short‑form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Come on‑site weekly to assist with filming and edit content on‑site, receiving direct feedback during the editing process
- Research and follow CONO (College of Naturopaths of Ontario) advertising and content rules before creating or posting content
- Use apps like CapCut, Facetune, and other editing tools to enhance visuals
- Post and optimize content for engagement and reach
- Use trending sounds, hooks, hashtags, and editing techniques to boost visibility
- Collaborate with the team to translate wellness concepts into engaging social media content
- Create compelling and informative content for websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials
- Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines
- Stay up to date on trends and best practices in digital marketing and content creation
- Assist with daily operations and back-end tasks at the clinic to better understand the business and inform social media ideas
Requirements
- Recently graduated or still in school; seeking a short‑ to medium‑term role (approximately 6 months to a few years)
- Strong interest in health, wellness, and holistic care
- Experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok
- Strong skills in CapCut, Facetune, and mobile video editing
- Ability to shoot and edit high‑quality, engaging videos
- Comfortable working on‑site and filming with practitioners
- Willingness to research and comply with CONO regulations prior to content creation
- Organized, proactive, and open to feedback
- Local to Hamilton with a flexible schedule for on‑site filming and editing
